According to Hindu beliefs based on the Balinese calendar, Nyepi celebrations usually fall in March and April. This celebration of loneliness and holy return for Hindus has activities and rituals as gratitude for the creator. Often the celebration attracts tourists to see it. Bali, in addition to famous for its tourist attractions, Bali is also one of the areas in the predominantly Hindu country of Indonesia. So no wonder when Nyepi all activities in Bali stopped temporarily, even until Ngurah Rai airport was closed.

This lonely tradition contains an element of prohibition which must be obeyed in order to reflect on mistakes that have been made in the past. In Chatur Brata there are some restrictions such as, banned fire (amati geni), all physical activities stopped (amati karya), not to travel from home that will disturb others (amati lelungan) and no entertainment (amati lelaungan).
This series of traditions took place the day after the celebration of Nyepi Day. Geni shoot that means freely re-do the activity, where the Hindus do a prayer together to the creator to be a new man without sin. After that done Dharma Santi, forgive each other and visit each other to strengthen the relationship between each other.
